I’m actually extremely disappointed with Imogen right now.

She’s more or less become Fiona’s lapdog.
Remember when she didn’t care what anyone thought of her? Fiona is changing her and for the worse.

This is going to be a rant about the ~ship war~ (mostly Eclare).

No, it’s not the writer’s fault that Eclare is so popular.
But Epitome, MuchMusic, TeenNick, etc, can control how much they promote that one single couple to everyone.

For the longest time all you saw was Munro and Aislinn. Who went to the KCA’s last year? Munro and Aislinn. Who went to the Emmy’s last year? Munro, Aislinn and Jordy. Of course the episode was about Adam - but Munro and Aislinn didn’t need to come just because their characters were friends with Adam. Why didn’t Luke come, hm? Since, you know, he plays Adam’s brother and all.

This is what bothers me about this fandom. What I’m going to say might offend some Eclare shippers, but it’s the truth whether you like it or not. And I’m not saying this is every Eclare shipper but you can’t try to tell me that it’s not like this.

You guys are spoiled. Spoiled frigging rotten. Don’t tell me you don’t get any “hope” for Eclare because that would be complete and utter bullshit. You guys get constant tweets from Stephen Stohn himself talking about Eclare whether they be cryptic as hell or just hopeful. The majority of the cast will tell you they ship Eclare just so you guys will freak out about it. You get old Eclare gallery photos that weren’t posted anywhere. Hell, the rest of the crew at Epitome AND the people at MM and TT will tease you with Eclare stuff. Like this tweet:

Here’s my side rant about Fimogen: Oh god, Fimogen. Fimogen is not realistic at all. I have never in my life yet met a lesbian who fell for a straight (we’re assuming) girl (whom she thought was an absolute freak just days before) and then magically whisked her off of her feet later on. Could Imogen like girls as well? Of course. But Imogen just got the guy she liked for months and now she just wants to give that up for a recovering alcoholic who treated her like shit because she wanted to be popular?  They’re already showing a promo in which Imogen is about to kiss Fiona and IMOGELI ISN’T EVEN BROKEN UP YET.

Eclare is a popular ship, yes, I get that. But just because it’s popular doesn’t mean this company needs to capitalize it as much as they can and market the hell out of it.
That’s what irritates me about this couple and the fact that so many naive people fall for this game that the producers and everyone else are playing.

forgive me if i’m wrong (loljk when am i wrong?) but at this point imogen is better off with eli. i don’t give a fuck if he gets mad at her for her art project, we’re putting that fact aside for the time being.

eli is getting better and healthier. eli still talks to his therapist and is taking his mind off of the negative stuff and is obviously happy with imogen right now.

i am so so so tired of eclare fangirls trying to come up with the most ridiculous, unrealistic shit just so eclare would have a “reason” to get back together. it’s stupid. they broke up. eli is happy without clare. get over it.
